Transporting Animals

Richmond HERO's van is used to transport animals for spay/neuter and to move animals to safe shelters, rescues, and adoption stands.

Dog Adoptions

Dogs for adoption are available from B.A.R.K. every Saturday and Sunday  11:00 am - 2:00 pm at the Short Pump PETsMART (Behind Short Pump Mall), 11740 West Broad Street, Suite A

Also every Saturday 11:00 am – 2:00 pm at PETsMART near Virginia Center Commons Mall, 9870 Brook Rd, Glen Allen, VA 23059

Cat Adoptions

There are many wonderful cats and kittens available for adoption. Please visit your local shelter or rescue organization.
