By now you guys know the story (see "Stories")of my new kitty Tabitha (aka Tabs). I called EVERYONE for two weeks straight trying to get a coupon or some assistance to get her spayed, especially since we have some boys visiting the yard in the evenings. Since this was an unplanned adoption I wasn't expecting the expense of a new pet however, we certainly didn't want 100 kittens running around our yard either. So, I contacted everyone... SPCA, Prevent A Litter, Friends of Animals, Pet Fix, etc. Long story short the only person who called me back and went to lots of trouble to help me was Pet Fix. Marge (at Pet Fix) contacted a friend of hers at Richmond Hero who has set up an appointment for me to get my new kitty spayed and at an extremely low cost.

I felt that these two individuals went out of there way to help me out and I wanted to thank them for that so in return I'm asking for my friends to sign up their Food Lion MVP card through Richmond Hero. It does not take any discount from you or affect you in any way. When you make a purchase a portion of your purchase will be donated to Richmond Hero so other animals can be spayed and neutered at low cost. This is the best way I know to thank them so I've signed up and if you would too and send it to your friends so they can sign up too I would really appreciate it and so does Tabs.

Once on the website click FOOD LION MVP card. This will take you to the next screen that says Food Lion's Shop & Share Program. Click on sign up form and complete the info and that's it!!
